What a week it has been!

It is examination week for primary school this week...a nightmare not only for the primary school students, but more so for teachers!

Although not much teaching is done, we still try to squeeze as much revision as we can after the papers everyday, hoping that the extra bit of knowledge will make a difference between a pass or fail.

After school, we will then have to stay back to make sure that we finish marking the scripts on the day itself.

11 primary 2 classes, 40 students per class, 10+ pages for each script for English and 23 pages for Maths. After that, the pri 2 teachers also have to help the primary 4 teachers to mark the Science papers.

IMAGINE HOW MANY PAGES OF MARKING I HAD DONE OVER THE PAST 4 DAYS!!!!

*faints*

Everyday, by the time I get home, all I wanna do is to change into my PJs and crash into bed.

Yesterday was classic...I got home around 5pm (I know it sounds early but dun forget that I start work at 7.15am!), took a nap, n when I woke up, I tot it was morning already n I paniced cos I tot I was gonna be late for school!

Sighz...its time to go mark papers again so I will update again later.

Super Duper Uber X 1 000 000 Belated Birthday Post!

Muhahahaha...I have finally got down to complete this birthday post that I have been postponing and delaying for ages though I was done with all the photoshopping a couple of days after my birthday. AND for once, blogger did not give me any trouble. *Phew* Can you believe that I had to take more than 10 tries before I managed to upload everything??? ARGH!!!!! *Pulls Hair out*

But anyway...I am still feeling very lazy so I decided that this is gonna be more of a picture post rather than a word-y post. Sides, pictures say more than a thousand words, right? Heehee...Pictures are more or less in order so enjoy! *winks*

Birthday celebrations started on the 6th where it was also my last day of work. Had a farewell cum birthday lunch celebration with my colleagues at a thai restaurant, "Magic Wok" at Hougang Mall in Hougang Central. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! The food is very delicious n very very reasonably priced. A plate of "Pad Thai" is only $3.50 while a $8.00 bowl of tom yum soup was shared amongst the 7 of us with plenty of leftovers for another round.

After work, I met up with my guy and we went to Victors at Marina Square Center Stage for dinner. It was, unfortunately, not as nice as I had remembered it to be, and they had marked up the prices already. Looks like I wun be going back again anytime soon. (Latest update...met up with a couple of friends with my guy for coffee on friday, 21 Oct, and they told me Victors has closed down...And I wonder why) A quick walk around the esplanade + some photo taking (which all turned out bad cos it was too dark) and we headed to the chocolate bar for melted chocolates as dessert. YUMMY! *slurp*

Next morning, me and my guy were up bright and early to go...WAKEBOARDING!

No birthday is complete without a birthday present rite? Presenting my birthday present from my instructor, to yours truly...ME! Everyone, meet Suter, the boss of TenEighty and a wakeboarder with the WBA Team. Sorry if I am gushing but he is really a very very good wakeboarder...the backrolls and halfcaps!!! *Drools* His bookings during weekends are already full till...get this...NEXT YEAR AUGUST!!!! I m damn honored to be riding in HIS boat, to be having TWO instructors guiding me along that day, at NO EXTRA CHARGE!!! Woo HOO!!!

Another way, after our riding session, it was time to relax with a little crapping session with Edward before me and my guy finally decided to head to Compass Point for some lunch, yummy yong tau foo! Then, it was abit of shopping around before heading home for...CAKES!

Mummy bought a mango cake for me for my birthday this year. It was sooooooo yummy *Slurp*! Unfortunately, it was also a little melted by the time they got home with my cake so we had to put it in the freezer for a while to get it back into shape. And while waiting, me and my guy got bored so this is what happened...

In case anyone was wondering, those fruits are all fake. I was bored n started playing with the plate of display fruits on my dining table. It was fun though. My fav picture is the 1st one, though a close turtlish friend of mine and my guy thought the apple one was better.

Anyway, after messing around for about half hr, the cake was finally ready!

Ah...it has been a long long entry but I am finally done. Heehee...now I can post about other stuffs and not feel guilty anymore! =p

1st Milestone, 1st Pay Check, 1st MC

Sighz...Had been falling sick at an alarming rate recently...3rd time in as many months. What the hell is going on with my body? =( This time was exceptionally bad...as it is now, I am running a 38.7 degrees fever, my whole body feels wobbly, I have a throbbing headache (which has thankfully subsided somewhat), my throat is sore from all the coughing, and my poor nose is gonna start peeling soon if I continues to torture it.

What made it worse was that it is exam period now! Stayed back in school till almost 6pm to finish marking the exam papers for SA2 with the rest of the P2 and P4 teachers today even though I felt like dying. It didn't help that the library was freezing cold too. At least doctor gave me an MC so if I am still feeling terrible tomorrow, I would go straight home after school instead of staying back to mark papers again.

Alritez...enuff of complains from me...lets get back to the main point.

I have officially been a teacher for a month already!!! Yay!!! Kinda disgusted tt I fell sick on such an impt day though...n the last time I fell sick (though not as bad though I was nursing a runny nose for more than a week) was exactly a month ago!!!

The past month had been a very eventful one...I had students spewing vulgarities at me, I had students playing truant (and they are only in P2!!!), I had students crying over the slightest thing, I had students stealing their classmate's wallets...the list goes on.

However, that will have to be left till tomorrow or over the weekend alritez? I seriously should go to bed now. Didn't had a good rest last nite...was tossing n turning n having nightmares abt marking homework!!! *faints*

LOOK AT ME!!! I look so old n haggard n tired now. Sighz...this is wat a fractured ankle (so no exercise and wakeboarding for 4mths) + shouting and screaming at 40 monsters can do to u. =(

WHAT THE HELL!!!!

ARGH!!!!

Dun ask me why but I am having probs uploading my photos for my birthday post as promised.

Spend Sat n Sun (whatever free time I had) trying to upload the photos but after a while, blogspot screws up n I wun be able to upload anymore.

So far I have gotten abt 6 to 7 photos up...abt 10+ more to go before the entry is complete.

I will see if I can get it done up by next week.

DAMMIT!!!!!!!

On a side note, I will be heading back to old office to collect my cheque tomorrow. YAY!!! I need the cash badly cos I wun be getting any pay this month from MOE. Instead, I will be getting 1.5mths+ next month. So now...I am broke (though tt didnt stop me from shopping...I bought many stuff on this week...many MANY stuff =p. Will try to see if I can post them up soon) but next month...MUHAHAHAHAHHA =p
