Time Flies...
woah Woah WOAH! Time really flies and its Sept already! 5 more days before I leave my current company to take a week long break before embarking on a new career path on 12 Sept.
Initially, I was really glad to be leaving this place as I felt that I couldn't connect with my colleagues. However, as the time draws nearer n nearer, I realised (with a twinge of sadness) that I would miss them and this place after all!
Boss had been acting funny lately. he keeps walking pass my room, stop at the door n give me funny looks, or he will come into my room n stand beside me, looking at my computer screen. ARGH! He jut walked into my room again!!! But the weirdest thing he did was when he said "Aiyah, only left a few more days to disturb you" just before he walked out late yesterday after. I was like "what??? huh???"
Sheesh...he is gonna give me a heart attack if he does this too often!!! (cos most of the time I m slacking off, surfing the net or updating my blog, like now! =p)
On a another note, received my posting letter from MOE yesterday. Had been posted to teach in a primary school in Woodlands, subjects will be English and Maths. However, I have to attend a 2 days training course on 12th and 13th Sept so will be starting only on the 14th instead. Woo...i am realli excited as I had never teach in a primary school before (before that, ALL my teaching assignments were in secondary schools) but...at the same time...I am worried that I might not be able to handle 40 hyperactive kids. Ah well...shall see how it goes.
It's my birthday next week! Woo Hoo!!! Met up with Jo & Xinyi last night for dinner at NYDC Wheelock Place for an early birthday celebration. Pity I didn't bring my camera along so no photos =( It was good to meet up and bitch and complain to them once again. Must make a mental note to do this more often, birthdays or no birthdays.
Oh yes! Before that, I went to carry out my loanshark duties again and met up with the delegate from Bharain. Remember how I was complaining that he didn't turn up for the last meeting? OPPS!!! Actually HE DID!!! It was my "DUHZ" driver who gave me the wrong description lah...my driver told me "The guy is short, not very fat, has white hair and doesn't wear glasses". BUT BUT BUT...the delegate wore glasses and was abit plump with a big round tummy!!!! Then I spend the whole night looking for someone fitting the description when the delegate was seated beside me ALL ALONG! Wat a waste of my time!!! GRRRR....-_-"
The whole incident was damn funny can...once again, I was sitting at Shang lobby waiting for him and trying to look for someone who fitted my driver's description when suddenly I spotted the same old man seated beside me last friday. He seems to be searching for someone so I thought that I would try my luck. "Mr Abdullah?" I ventured and his eyes lighted up. BINGO! And you know what was the next thing he said? "Hey! I remember you!!! I was waiting for you last friday at 7.30pm as planned and I still remember that when I left at 8pm cos I had another appointment, you were still seated at the lobby looking like you were waiting for someone!" WAH!!! SO DUHZ CAN!!!!!! Luckily, he wasn't angry with me and instead was such a nice jovial person...like a grandfather to me. *laffs* Anyway, I am glad that everything turned out well in the end.
Sighz...Have to go be a loanshark AGAIN tonite (at 10pm no less but have to go hme and eat "Mee Sua" and red eggs for dinner 1st cos its my chinese birthday today! *grins*) and I do hope that the same thing wun happen cos tis time, I m meeting the guy at the airport just before he boards the plane so if I missed him...tts it! *dead angela X_X*
Ok bah...tis has been a very long post n I think I better get back to work (like there is anything for me to do). Shall update again soon on how my "Dai Yi-longing" at the airport tonite went.
